Club History

The Ballina cricket club has existed for more than 100 years, with Far North coast Cricket Council records indicating most centuries during a season in the 1904/1905 and 1905/1906 seasons. Centuries were scored by Jas.Cupitt for the Ballina Cricket club.

They also show the same player scoring 1988 and 1594 runs respectively in those seasons.

The club in its existing form has been operational for a period of 15 years and prior to this time it operated under various names associated with local hotels and clubs. During this time the club has won both One Day and Two Day format Regional Cricket League competitions and has also won numerous minor and major premierships in the lower grades.

The Club has also been Ballina District Cricket Association Club Champions on two occasions.
